TDI  Decompression Procedures Course

 

2 Days + 1 Evening.  Minimum of 4 training dives are required.

 

Minimum age of 18 

 

Minimum certification of Open Water Diver

Proof of 25 logged open water dives

Manta Divers require candidates to be basic nitrox divers and be familiar with the equipment they will be using during the course. For those who have not familiar with twin-sets … start from twinset orientation.

 

£235.00 This includes, TDI Decompression Procedures Manual and TDI certification fees.

 

The objective of this course is to train divers how to plan and conduct staged decompression dives not exceeding a maximum depth of 45m. The most common equipment requirements, gear set-up, and decompression techniques are presented. Students are instructed how to use Enriched Air Nitrox mixes for decompression provided the gas mix is within their current certification level.

 

This course together with TDI Advanced Nitrox course would meet the pre-requisites for TDI Trimix course.

 

SMB & Reel (over 50m of line) and cutting tool

Underwater slate or notepad

Twin set as primary cylinders.

O2 clean Stage cylinder for decompression mix

Depth gauge and automatic bottom timer or dive computer 

Regulators (O2 Clean regulator for stage cylinder)

Buoyancy Compensator(s) adequate for equipment configuration.    

Exposure suit adequate for the open water environment - dry suit
