TDI Extended Range Course
3 days + 1 Evening. Minimum of 4 training dives are required.

Have a minimum certification as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent). Show proof of a minimum of one hundred (100) logged dives. Manta Divers may require candidates to do an assessment dive prior to starting course
£400.00 This includes TDI Extended Range/Trimix Manual and TDI certification fees.
The Extended Range Course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize air for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing Nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 55 metres. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases.
Twin Set for Bottom Mix
O2 clean Stage Cylinder(s) for decompression
Primary and primary redundant regulators required on all bottom mix cylinder(s).
Submersible pressure gauges are required on primary and stage cylinders.
A contingency use long hose second stage should be designated and appropriately rigged to facilitate air sharing at depth if necessary.
It is strongly recommended that the three required regulators be all DIN.
Buoyancy Compensator(s) adequate for equipment configuration.
Redundant Depth and Timing Devices.
Air decompression computers allowed for use as depth and timing devices.
Primary and Redundant Light System.
Ascent Reel (100m line) with Lift Bag/Surface Marker Buoy
Back-up Reel and SMB
Exposure suit adequate for the open water environment - Dry Suit
Line Cutting Device.
Underwater Slate or Note Pad.
