Courses for Children and Young Teenagers
Get your whole family involved in scuba diving or snorkelling so you can share extraordinary memories together and take your holiday to new depths!
Manta Divers offer the full of PADI programmes for children, ranging from snorkelling (no minimum age) and swimming pool-only scuba diving experiences from age 8 through to full PADI diver certification programmes (from age 10), which are recognised and accepted all over the world. We can also offer some classroom-based marine conservation educational courses through PADI Project AWARE and First Aid and CPR training through PADI’s Emergency First Response course.
In our experience, we have found that snorkelling and diving appeal to a wide range of children, however ‘sporty’ or not they may be. Unlike many sports, snorkelling and scuba diving are non contact and mostly non competetive physical activities, yet they provide children with opportunities to exercise under supervision, at the same time as learning and having fun. PADI Bubblemaker (age 8 & 9) and PADI Discover Scuba Diving (age 10 upwards) offer an inexpensive way of giving the children an opportunity to give it a try and see what it is like prior to committing to a longer course. These also make a fantastic fun birthday party!
The equipment that we provide is designed specifically to fit children and we have a range of sizes that will fit the smaller ones as well as young adults.

This is a great way for children to experience scuba diving in the pool in less than two metres of water.
Or why not have a Scuba Party? Celebrate a birthday by throwing a memorable, exciting Bubblemaker party!
